Pepper Russell Promoted to Research and Support Services Manager, Greater Irvine Chamber

Pepper Russell has been promoted to Research and Support Services Manager for the Greater Irvine Chamber. Since joining the Chamber staff in 2015, Russell has served in a support role for Economic Development, previously as Executive Assistant for Economic Development & Tourism.
“I’m proud to be a part of the professional economic development staff at the Greater Irvine Chamber,” she said. “I’m looking forward to contributing in my new role to help ensure the business community in the greater Irvine area continues to thrive.”
Russell’s area of responsibility includes collecting, organizing, and evaluating data and research from a variety of resources on initiatives and trends and their impact on local, regional, national, and international business and economic development. Particular emphasis is placed on developing information that helps the Chamber serve and grow the life sciences and broad-spectrum information technology sectors and providing solid research to help the Chamber influence trade and import/export, workforce development, housing, and infrastructure issues that affect Irvine.
Additionally, Russell provides Notary Public and Certificates of Origin and Free Sale services to companies engaged in international trade and importing/exporting. She also coordinates various Chamber programs including the award-winning Career Edge, Financial Forum, and Ethics Forum workforce preparedness workshops, and Business Outreach Rallies.
“Pepper has shown a real talent for organizing data and research that serves to better inform our work,” said Linda DiMario, executive vice president, Greater Irvine Chamber. “This promotion recognizes her commitment, abilities and contributions to that work.”
Russell earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Redlands.
