Greater Irvine Chamber Announces 2018 Business of the Year Nominees

The Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce has announced the nominees for its Business of the Year Awards. Nominees will be recognized for community service, volunteerism, and the best traditions of good corporate citizenship in the categories of Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, Philanthropist of the Year, and Young Professional of the Year.

The recipients of the awards will be announced at Celebrate Irvine, the Chamber’s annual business awards luncheon, hosted in partnership with the City of Irvine, on Wednesday, June 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hotel Irvine, 17900 Jamboree Rd.

Young Professional of the Year

 

Irvine Mayor Donald P. Wagner will provide updates on the city and speak on the “business of business” in Irvine. Other topics will include the rapid development of the Orange County Great Park, transportation improvements, and the City Council’s support of Irvine’s public schools. Greater Irvine Chamber President and CEO Bryan Starr will provide an update on the Chamber’s work to advance economic development as set forth by the city’s Master Plan.

Individual tickets for Celebrate Irvine are $55 for Chamber members, and $65 for non-members.
