Greater Irvine Chamber’s Linda DiMario Moderates Pitch Session at California’s Largest Technology Innovation & Investment Conference

Last week, Greater Irvine Chamber (GICC) Leaders Circle member, OCTANe, hosted the 2017 Technology Innovation Forum (TIF) conference, the largest in California focusing on high-growth technology innovation and investment.

Linda DiMario, vice president of Economic Development & Tourism, GICC, moderated the LaunchPad “pitch session” during the two-day conference. Critique IT, Matrix Sensors, My Mobile Watchdog, and Evasyst were the four candidates DiMario introduced to the record audience and panel of judges.

The recipient of the Launchpad Award was My Mobile Watchdog, a technology platform that provides parents with mobile security tools for keeping their children safe on smartphones for a subscription fee.

Also, DiMario welcomed back 2012 TIF LaunchPad recipient, Enevate, an Irvine company employing 45 people with a funding raise of $80 million to date, supporting the evolution of a rechargeable battery for next generation electric vehicles that charges in five minutes and extends travel to 240 miles.
